Congregation Ahavath Achim in Portland, Oregon sponsored an Israeli art show in May, 2004 which was organized by Ilan Hasson with the participation of 5 other Israeli artists who represented a variety of mediums.
It was a pleasure to work with Ilan in the planning stages through email and phone calls as well as during the weekend of the show. Ilan has done this enough times to be able to insure that everything comes off like clockwork. He anticipates needs and makes sure they are addressed without undue stress. All of the artists work extremely hard in transporting their art, setting up and breaking down the show with the utmost level of professionalism.
It was a pleasure to host the show and the artists in our homes.

I have had the privilege as the Exec Director of our Columbia JCC and the Federation to have this special group in our community, and my home. Hardly a day goes by without someone commenting on the artwork we have on display. I could not stop myself, or my wife from buying art from each. As we already have been to Israel many times, I thought myself immune. No way. A bonus was the time we got to spend with the group as guests. A Fun time with lots of good memories. This special group of individuals are a wonderful endorsement for this taste of Israeli art. I will forever remember how the group was willing to share profits when Avi's artwork was delayed in transit. Thankfully it arrived on time...but the thought and sense of mutual aide was not lost on me.
I recommend this group and each individual without any reservations....well I have one. Don't book them when I want to have them!
