Fine people that bring fine arts

"Look up all around you and see: They are all assembled, are come to you...You shall don them all like jewels" (Isiah 49.18)
Ilan Hasson

Ilan Hasson was born on a Moshav in central Isarel in 1958. He began his artistic career at the age of sixteen, at the Avni art school in Tel Aviv, where he graduated with honors. He continued his studies at the Tel-Chai art school in the Galilee.

His themes are based on Jewish subjects from the Bible the Talmud, the Haggadah, the Kabbalah and sights of Israel.

A new style, which he developed since 1986, emphasizes the coloring and atmosphere of the Mediterranean, incorporation Oriental and Medieval styles.

The painting of Ilan Hasson apear vibrant with their brilliant colors and enamel qualities. Their glowing hues are applied on figures inscribed in gold and silver and create a feast of rounded decorative forms. Ilan works in a variety of techniques including: Water Colors, Goash, Acrylics and Japanese ink.

The paper is an important component of his work. It is a hand made paper, each sheet unique, and is done especially for him. The paper becomes an integral part of the artwork.
