"CHOOSE LIFE " (Deuteronomy 30, 19)

Copyright 2003 by Avi Biran

"A way to remember" - a nonprofit organization is trying to establish a "Hagadah" for the Holocaust Remembrance Day. Before the reading six candles are lit in memory of the six million who perished. Two small candles in memory of the children, two medium ones in memory of the parents, and two large ones in memory of the grandparents. This design shows that each person was a unique individual. Each flower is different and each flower was picked before his time. Our image is reflected in each flower showing that we are the people that must remember and must keep the memory. Looking from above, the flowers show the Star of David that symbolizes the "Yellow Star of David".
